Yet again I have been very remiss on keeping up with my blog!
At the ripe old age of 68 I am still working, I run a website, an eBay shop, an etsy site, a personal vlog, made many garments and bags throughout the year, kept my house, helped to look after 7 grandchildren and this year I finally finished rewriting a book about my father’s life.
I had always promised to him that I would rewrite (he was French and his written English left a lot to be desired!).
He was born in Dinan, in France and over our lifetime he recounted many a jaw dropping tale about his life. When he finally retired I suggested he should write his life history down so that at least all the family can read about it. The more I rewrote it the more intrigued I was about his life and experiences.
Now it is published and those who have read it have told me they loved reading it and couldn’t put it down.

Over the year I have created a number of garments, mainly for myself, some I have loved immediately, others I have created and decided they were definitely not for for me. Those ones usually headed into the charity bag in the hope that perhaps, just perhaps, someone else with a more flattering figure might actually appreciate it.
Most of my happy creations have been chronicled on my vlog Michoumakes
So, if you want to pop along there you will not only get an idea on what my creations were in 2019 but also you will get to see and learn a little bit more about who I am.
It’s too late, and to be fair I don’t have the time to review everything that I made here. But I have promised myself that I really have to knuckle down and make sure I keep this blog up to date and in ship shape fashion.
So, for the moment I will wish all those of you who have stopped by a very Happy New Year and hope that 2020 brings you more happiness than you could ever wish for. And if it doesn’t and you want a shoulder to cry on then don’t hesitate to contact me.
